Emma Cosslett MBACP

Hi, my name is Emma and I’m a person-centered therapist, which means that I believe you know yourself best and we can work together to help you figure things out.

You don’t need to have anything “wrong” to have therapy, sometimes we feel like we need to earn the right to have help and that’s simply not true. That said, if that’s where you are, then that’s ok too. That you have come to this website to consider therapy or just read profiles, is a big step. I get that this experience might feel strange at first, but two heads are better than one and you never know, it might just work out. My fee is £50 per session. Click here for Emma’s full profile

Cal McHale MNCPS

A bit about me, I’m a Pluralistic Psychotherapist and my journey into therapy has been shaped by my own lived experiences, they’ve played a meaningful role in the therapist I’ve become. I didn’t arrive in this profession by accident — it grew out of a deep curiosity about people, resilience, and the ways we make sense of our lives.
Over the years, I’ve navigated challenges that taught me the value of being truly heard and understood. Those moments helped me appreciate how transformative a safe, supportive space can be. They also sparked my commitment to offering that same space to others.

How do I work? …first and foremost, I meet you where you are in your current life journey and create a safe and supportive space for you. Together, we can work towards helping you feel more empowered, confident, and revitalized. My approach to therapy is designed to help you gain clarity about your feelings and toward building the life you truly deserve. My prices are £60 for a 50 min counselling session, £300 for a block booking of 6×50 min sessions or £100 for NLP Rapid transformation 50 min session.  Click here for Cal’s full profile

Laura Withington MBACP

My journey into counselling began in prison education and developed further through careers guidance and coaching, before I went on to qualify as an integrative counsellor. Along the way, I have been fortunate to support people from many different walks of life.

I have previously worked as a volunteer counsellor with Age UK Wirral and the NSPCC. These roles have deepened my understanding of how people cope with emotional pain, trauma, and uncertainty — and just how resilient we can be when we have the right support in place. I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever may be troubling you at your own pace.

As an impartial person, I will listen to you carefully. I will not tell you what to do. I will support you to make sense of your experiences and rediscover your own inner strengths. You choose the focus of each session, and this can evolve as your needs change.
My fee is £55 for a 50 minutes session. Click here for Laura’s full profile.

Helen Cawley MBABCP

I have over 13 years of experience working within the NHS, alongside a counselling background which I also draw on in my work. This allows me to work in a structured, evidence-based way, while also paying attention to the relational and emotional experience of therapy, adapting the approach depending on what feels most helpful for each person.

In practice, I aim to work in a collaborative and steady way, where we can think together about what is going on, rather than feeling you have to manage it alone. Therapy is not only about symptom reduction, but about developing a clearer understanding of yourself and your experiences in a way that feels grounded and manageable. Sessions are available online across the UK and face-to-face on the Wirral and my fee is £80 for online sessions and £90 for in person sessions. View Helen’s full profile here.
